Darien Field Hockey triumphed over Westhill 9-1, to improve to 7-0 on the season. (10/5) The Blue Wave were led by junior Lilly Cassidy, who scored three goals. Darien was leading 8-0, when Westhill was able to strike a ball past senior goalie Claire Dickson. The tenacious Darien defense have only allowed three shots on goal seven games into the season. "Despite letting in our first goal of the season our team looks really solid and if we keep up the high level of play it'll be a strong season," said senior captain Sam Johnston.
Come see the Blue Wave take on Danbury this Friday (10/8) at 4pm at Darien High School.
