With hockey season fast approaching, the fall hockey season is in full swing, with the Wave winning their second game. With a bench packed with players, Darien had fresh legs every shift. The first goal was scored by Senior Mike Foresta in the second period, and there was an abundence of shots on the West Hill net. At the start of the 3rd period the Darien bench was getting shorter as the team struggled to maintain their lead. Towards the end of the 3rd, Sophomore Nick Bruno bolted down the ice to come up with an amazing short handed goal. With only a minute left, West hill scored their first goal off of a tip in shot from the point, making it a fight to the finish. Darien held its own and ended up winning the game, with shots still being fired upon Darien's goalie in the final seconds.
