Boys varsity basketball team lost 71-51 to Fairfield Ludlowe on Friday. (1/8) This leaves the boys with a 1-5 record. The team played hard, but was unable to crawl back even with their best performance coming in the second half. The Wave was led by seniors Mike Lee and Phil Stueber who had 13 and 12 points respectively. “We could have won if we played like we had in the beginning of the fourth quarter,” junior Christian Papic said. The team’s next game is Tuesday (1/12) at 7pm against Stamford at Stamford High School as they look for their first league win of the season.
