For the cheerleaders, the fall season focuses on cheering at
the football games, but the winter season is a time for competitions. Junior
Rose Armstrong said, “I’m extremely proud of how our team performed last year.
No matter what place we received, no matter how many stunts we hit, we always
had to work together to perform.”
As for the upcoming season, Armstrong said, “I’m definitely looking forward to striving for higher goals and working alongside all of the other girls to reach them.”
“One of my favorite parts of being on the cheer team is definitely having that sense of family between everyone. We know how to trust each other and work together to pull off something that couldn’t be done individually. My favorite part of performing is having a sense of accomplishment as a team after we finish a routine,” Armstrong said. Best of luck at your winter competitions!
