Darien High
School’s Girls JV Field Hockey Team played against Norwalk High School at six
o’clock on Tuesday at Norwalk’s stadium turf (10/16). The girls started off the
game with a quick goal from sophomore Julia Russo; sophomore Avery Maley also
scored in the beginning of the game. Goalie, sophomore Morgan Spar, played an
excellent first half with six saves. Darien won the game with an overall score
of 9-0. “The girls did a great job,” sophomore Erinn Ravosa said. They surely
continue to play well in the weeks ahead!
Cheer on the
girls at 5:30 pm this Friday (10/19) at the DHS stadium turf when they play
Stamford High School.
