The Darien Boy’s Lacrosse played against Ludlowe this past Tuesday and emerged victorious. The final score was 18-4. Senior Kevin Lindley and Junior Logan Mcgovern both had amazing contributing to the majority of the offense and scoring. However, it was not only the starters that played well. The second string defense consisting of juniors Andrew Darby and Matt Gould were a terrifying presence attacking any ball or player that came over the midline.Others like Blake Sommi, Jack Joyce, Ryan Quinn, and Nick Green stepped up and filled the role of the first line middies. “The whole team really stepped up,” said Junior goalie, Will Culliton“Everybody did their part”. It has been a great season so far for the Wave remaining undefeated at 7-0 and hope to continue the streak against rival Wilton this Saturday away.
The boys sprint out to the field following a timeout in the second quarter. |
