Recently Darien High School synchronized swimmers, Katie Chidley, Camilla Kline, and Sarah Hoyt competed at synchronized swimming nationals with their team, the New Cannan Y Aquianas, in Arizona. The Aquianas have been training hard for this competition and their practice certainly paid off as the team represented themselves with distinction at this highly competitive meet.
Kline and Chidley led teammates to bronze in the team competition and then went on to win fourth place in the combo routine with Hoyt swimming as well. Chidley’s duet went on to make finals placed eleventh out of over forty duets. Overall the Aquianas represented their team well with a successful competition at nationals.
