Darien Blue Wave Girl’s Lacrosse won 23-2 against Norwalk High School last night. With a ridiculous 12 goals in just the first eight minutes, the girls knew they had this one in the bag. Senior and co-captain Kat Nestor said, "It was a fun game! We knew it wouldn’t be too impossible so we got a chance to work on a lot of our weak hand stuff as well as our new plays which was good." When Nestor says ‘work on a lot of our weak hand stuff’ it's quite funny because they look far from weak out there! With a dominating record right now beating every in state team by 10 points and a record of 9-0-1 so far their post season is looking quite bright! They have not played a strong Wilton team but have played Greenwich and New Canaan and have come out with two solid wins. They beat Greenwich (14-4) and and New Canaan (17-6). So be sure to watchthem play Wilton at 4pm next Thursday May 7 in Wilton.
