The Darien rugby team traveled to Jersey City on Sunday but lost to St. Peter’s Prep 26-17. The team started out strong, going up 12-0 in the first few minutes on tries by Kevin Keller and Peter McDonough. But St. Peter’s maintained pressure the rest of the half and scored before halftime. The teams traded scores in the second half, including another try by McDonough who had two in the game, before St. Peter’s pulled away. The loss drops the Blue Wave to 1-2 on the season, but the team was still positive after the loss. "The game was fantastic," captain Connor McCarthy said. The team's next game is next Tuesday against Greenwich
