JV Soccer Showing Signs of Life

-By: Justin Pryor-

The girls JV soccer team won 4 - 0 over Stamford and improved its record to 2 and 4. The first goal scored by freshman Anjali Krishnamachar on a 30-yard free kick. Also scoring was freshman Parker Hamill and sophomores Katie Donovan and Carly Renaud.
The girls kept the ball in opposing territory for the majority of the game, which gave the defense little work. Every player on the team got into the game which is a goal of the team in order to improve underclassmen for the varsity level. Junior Eleanor Palmer said, “Our season has been pretty good. But JV is hard because most people haven't played together. Darien has a hard week coming up with games against New Canaan and Greenwich on Wednesday and Friday.
