After losing half of the varsity team, Boys Tennis hopes to make a strong run in the FCIAC and State tournaments this year. The team is led by senior captains Malcolm Willis, Rupert Hansford, and Miller Schweizer. All three captains are returning to Varsity along with Juniors Britton Dailey, Cal Kevorkian and Sophomore Ryo Usami. Due to the vast number of graduating seniors in the previous year there were many spots for underclassman to step up and play on varsity. After the tryouts were conducted Juniors Charlie Khachian, Gavin McNulty and Sophomores Will McCoy, Dominic Hansford, DJ Brown, and Jeffrey Sload were selected to join the varsity team. “The underclassmen look promising and hopefully we will be able to make a good run in FCIAC’s” Malcolm Willis said. Come support the Blue Wave in its matches during the season.
