On Thursday, May 31, 2012, the Boys Golf team will participate in FCIACs, after an impressive regular season. The team has shown incredible improvement from the beginning of the season, and has ended with a very respectable 11-7 record.
At FCIACs, the five golfers who will represent the team are: Cameron Van de Graaf, James Burgoyne, Kevin Steinthal, Kieran Suri, and Max Rothston. The four best scores will determine the score of the team. These four have worked together over the course of the season, and have prepared for this day.
“Thursday will be a very exciting day for all of the team, we have been looking forward to playing in the FCIAC Championship all year and we know we can compete with the best teams at the end of the day," junior Kieran Suri said.
On Monday, the Boys Golf Team will start States. The team has struggled in the past, but can rally together to hopefully perform well in these coming playoffs.
