The Boys Varsity Volleyball team beat Maloney from Meriden, CT 3-0 yesterday (4/23). The team started off winning its first game 25-8. The boys kept the momentum going in the next two games winning 25-14 and then 25-16, beating Maloney by a long shot. Senior captain Sam Bryant had nine kills, seven aces, and seven digs. Senior captain Matt Lee had 29 assists. Senior Matt Collier had 13 kills and junior George Phillips had five kills and four stuff blocks. Senior Ryan Stracuzzi had seven digs and junior Sean Lee had five. “We started the first game well,” Matt Lee said. “We had a good team performance, played together, and got the job done. We also passed well and hit well.”
