14 Straight

-By Justin Pryor-

Blue Wave field hockey keeps up its perfect season with a 4-1 win over New Canaan on Monday (10/26) to improve its record to 14-0. Senior Aimee Rich shut out the Rams while junior Sophie Doering had two goals in the game, and juniors Sophie Watters and Leslie Gill had one goal apiece. When asked about the success of the season junior Claire Dickson said, “Overall I think what makes this so enjoyable is the incredible coaching staff and the good chemistry that we have.” During the game though, junior Madeleine Gill was hit in the face with the ball, and is questionable for tomorrow’s game against Staples in Westport at 4pm. (10/27)
