Boys Hockey on a Winning Streak in 2019

Alix Platt

Darien Boys Ice Hockey played Xavier on January 5th. Starting out the New Year right after their win against Notre Dame-West Haven, the boys won a nerve racking game. They ended 4-3. Within the 1st period, Darien was up 2-0, however, Xavier came back just in time due to a penalty. Within the last 4 minutes both the Blue Wave and Xavier had 3 points. Luckily, sophomore Sean Bradley got the winning goal.

"No one expected Xavier to tie us in the 4th period," said senior James Gregory. "We received so many penalties but still won."
