Monday, November 26th marked the first day of the Girls Indoor
Track Season. The anticipation for this season is high as the Fall’s Girls
Cross Country team went to New England’s for the first time since 1987, placed
13th, and went to States placing second.
Senior Captain Sophie Long said, “I am very excited because we
are coming off of a really strong cross country season and we have a lot of
strong returning athletes.”
As one of the strongest returning Indoor teams in a long time,
the girls are hoping to win FCIAC’s and States this season.
Senior Captain Lizzie Heaney agreed, “I am really excited for
this season, we have a lot of returning talent from last year, and I’m looking
forward to another successful season.”

Invitationals at Hillhouse HS in New Haven on Friday, December 14th at
