On Saturday June 8th, the boys lacrosse team stepped foot on Jack Casagrande Field ready to dominate the Warriors. The Warriors previously beat the Wave on May 21st in a close 4-3 game allowing them to advance to the FCIAC finals. Senior Captain Tommy Hellman stated that after the loss to Wilton the team was "Trying to learn from that game and trying to get better". The hardworking and dedication payed off as the Wave crushed Wilton with a score of 13-3.
The Wave ended their season with a record of 17-5. The team is composed of athletes from all grades which helps the team stay stacked in the next coming years. Tommy's advice to the underclassmen is to "Keep working. Right after this we start again".
