The boys’ varsity lacrosse team wrapped up their season by acquiring the title of Class M State champions for the fourth consecutive year. The boys wiped out the Wilton Warriors with a score of 17-11 at Brien McMahon in Norwalk. Every player contributed to the success. Multiple players racked up the goals: everyone from freshman Case Matheis to senior John Bolton.
Senior manager, Lauren Miller didn’t miss a moment of the game. "Everyone played really well, I would put the spotlight on Nikki Dysenchuk because he was hurt all season and played in the last few games, and really was amazing." Lauren said. With a great senior class graduating, the underclassmen have big shoes to fill. However, senior Matt Gorski has a lot of confidence for the team in the years to come. Be sure to congratulate the ‘lax brahs’ if you see them walking down the halls at DHS in the final days of school.
