By Kate Fitzmaurice - Darien Girls Basketball game took on Foran High School as part of the annual LA VISTA tournament. The game ended in another victory for Darien with an end score of 39 - 32. “This game broke our losing streak” junior Kate Bushell said. “It also makes us the defending champions in the LA VISTA tournament.” Both Juniors Meg Marren and Kate Bushell made some key shots throughout the game. Also major contributions from seniors Amy Biggart, Susan Biggart and Leslie Yuen; Sophomore Emily Stein; and Freshman Daily Naughton helped lead the team to its success. The team’s current record is 3 wins and 2 losses. Come support the team at it’s next home game on January 6th against Bridgeport Central at 7pm.
