By: Laura Durham-The girls’ gymnastics team is off to a great beginning, winning their first two competitions. They beat Trumbull with a score of 134.2 on Tuesday. (1/5) Juniors Charlotte Morgan, Elsa Imbimbo, and Morgan Whitehead, and sophomores Katie Southworth and Katherine Mosher, all competed in four events, vault, bars, beam, and floor. Freshman Marya Von Schmidt competed in the vault and bars events, while sophomore Kiriko Masek competed in beam and floor.
Come and support the gymnasts at their first home meet next Saturday (1/16) at the Darien YMCA Gymnastics Center in Goodwives Shopping Center.
