Boys Varsity Soccer defeated Fairfield Ludlowe this Friday (10-8) on the turf field. Darien scored two goals, claiming its second victory of the season.
Neither team scored any goals during the first half. However, Darien managed to put pressure on Ludlowe.
Darien’s captain, senior Rupert Hansford, brought excitement to the field by scoring the first goal. The second goal was scored by senior J.J. Holmgren, leading the team to victory. Senior goalie Graham Hotchkiss only allowed one goal to hit the back of Darien’s net.
The team’s next game is at 4pm on Tuesday (10/12) at Bassick in Bridgeport.
