By Sara Shaker - The Girls soccer team won its third game yesterday (9/19) against Brian McMahon. The team came out strong scoring two goals in the first half, one goal from sophomore Dillon Schoen and the other from senior captain Marieke Bravo.
Much of the boys soccer team came to support the girls team, and due to too much Blue Wave pride, the ref had to stop the game to calm them down. However, despite this game stoppage and a goal from Brian McMahon in the second half, Darien stayed strong. “Even though Brian McMahon put up a tough fight, we definitely played our best and it showed in the score,” senior Elyssa Ganser said. Come support the team in its next game on Wednesday (9/21) against Westhill at 4:30PM at Westhill.
