Bone Vaults Over Competition

-By Claire Dickson-

Freshman Robin Bone is placed to become a key part of Darien's success. She is tearing apart the track and field front at DHS. As a pole vaulter, she went to FCIACs and the Class L meet, in which the girls took first place. Robin's pole vaulting abilities contributed to these victories. In FCIACs and States, Darien's six pole vaulters finished in the top six places. Robin tied a school record in pole vaulting with a vault of 10 feet. The team bases its success on the desire to win not for themselves but for the team. Robin Bone's outstanding performances throughout the winter season helped her teammates triumph.
