The Blue Wave Boys Varsity Baseball team is off to a great start. Last Saturday (3/24) the Boys Varsity Baseball team defeated Joel Barlow at 10 am on the Darien High School's varsity baseball field. The pitchers Dylan Torey and Mackenzie Glavin (pictured above) played well on the pitcher’s mound striking out several Joel players. Senior Alex Yergey (also pictured) made several plays at first base catching balls leading to quick innings. By the bottom of the third inning Darien was leading 7 -0. Another prominent senior player was Kyle Mangan who caught several balls in the outfield. DHS baseball fans can go check out the Varsity Baseball team tomorow (4/4) at Ridgefield High School.
