Darien
High School senior and Girls' Varsity defensemen Lauren Pryor is looking
forward to a great spring season.
"We
still have a large majority of our starters from last year so we are expected
to do well again this season," Pryor said.
The team
had a great 2012 season winning practically their regular season games, taking the FCIAC championship
and ranking third in the state.
"Our
goals for this season are to go undefeated in the FCIAC and have a good run
with out of state teams, and to win FCIACs and CIAC."
The
senior captains this season are: Kristy Gilbert, Jena Fritts, and Taylor Hardison.
