Spring House Basketball Preview

By Jack Tierney
Although Spring house basketball has the reputation of a joke or a waste of time, this year may be different.  The amount of teams playing this year has increased as well as the quality of talent.  In years past it has never featured so much hype. Players like Drew and Will Rolapp, both considered elite guards, have recently joined and some household names like Charlie Miller and Charlie Dean are returning.
You can also expect the games to be a lot more competitive considering last year at times it could get a little out of hand.  Freshman Will Rolapp mentioned, “The Spring house program is on the rise we just need more players to start playing” and Will is absolutely right because as the amount of players increase the more a program can grow.  Each of the five teams this year feature a well balanced group of players from stars to role players everyone plays a part.  One of the beauties to Spring house is anyone from 8th grade and seniors in high school so it enables everyone to get an equal chance to not only compete at a high level but also improve their game in the off season.
As the season begins we hope that Spring house can grow as a program and become a competition that all loyal basketball fans and other people who are just trying to improve can compete in.
