Yesterday, Monday, December 5th, next year’s captains
for the girls swim and dive team were announced. The dive team will be headed
by junior Caroline Ashcraft, and leadership for the swimmers will be shared
between juniors Caroline Orem, Olivia Leunis, and Claire Treesh. This year’s
team, coached by Marj Trifone, was the state champ for its division. Sophomore
swimmer Megan Slaughter says that the selected captains “will be great
leaders"; hopefully they’ll be able to pull together as successful a season as
this one was.
