Last night (Tuesday Jan. 3) the DHS boys basketball team
suffered a 23 point loss to Stamford’s Westhill High School. Although a loss, this wasn’t an entirely
disappointing game. The Blue Wave, although struggling offensively, played a
mean defensive game against the Knights. Unfortunately strong defense wasn’t
enough and the boys lost 72 to 49. Their record now sits at 1-5. The team’s
next game is this Friday against Bridgeport Central.
