On Wednesday January 25th, the Blue Wave Girls Hockey
Team found success and beat Hall/Conard High School 2-0. Senior Captain Cassidy
Schiff tore her MCL in a game against New Canaan, so freshmen Caitlin Chan had
to step up and play in Schiff's spot. Chan proved herself successfully scoring
one of Darien’s goals. Senior Captain Courtney Lowe played exceptionally well
and scored the other Darien goal on a low shot from the point. Schiff reflected
on the team’s win and said, “our forecheck is getting more aggressive which
forces our opponents to make mistakes.”
