On Sunday, March 23, the Blue Wave Mens Lacrosse Team defeated
Deerfield Academy 4-3 in a pre-season scrimmage held at the DHS stadium field. There
were 3 varsity quarters followed by 2 JV quarters in the friendly matchup.
Sophomore Jack Kniffin started off the game by netting a goal midway through
the first period, and his performance was followed up by goals from seniors
John Reed, Peter Lindley and Kyle Cornell. Senior captain Brad McCarthy said,
“I’m happy with how the scrimmage went, especially because it is so early in
the season. I think we have a good squad.”
