-By: Jose Corte-Real-DHS Rugby lost its final match of the season to Fairfield Prep 22-10 on Monday. Fairfield Prep Rugby is ranked second in the state. Darien’s leaders said despite the loss it was an amazing display of rugby. “It was a good game that unfortunately went their way,” junior captain Connor McCarthy said. They finished with a 3-3 record. That leaves them with a seventh place in the state tournament and seventh team in the state.
