Darien Girls Ice Hockey Takes on Greenwich Academy

On February 15, 2017 the Darien Girls Hockey team lost to tough competitor, Greenwich Academy The final score was 3-0. Although the team fell short of winning, the team was pleased with the way that they played. “I’m proud of the way the way we played,” Senior Captain Cassidy Schiff said. “We knew going in they were going to be a tough team and we stuck with them for a while before they scored a few goals and took the game from us.” Despite the loss, Schiff expressed a liking towards playing tough competition. “I liked playing tough competition like that especially right before the post season because it’s good preparation for the harder-fought games we have coming up,” Schiff said. Come out and support the Girls Ice Hockey Team in their next game against Stamford-Westhill-Staples on 2/17!
