The Darien Boy's and Girl's Indoor Track and Field team will be sending a small group of athletes to the National Scholastic Indoor Championship Meet this weekend. For the boys, participating athletes include Artem Skobrev in the mile run, Jake McCauley in the 5000 meter run, and Nick Joosten, Kevin Knapp, Alexi Bello, and John Bolton who are competing in the 4x200 meter relay. The girl's team is also sending some exceptional athletes as well. Competing for them are Caroline McDonough in the 5000, Robin Bone in the pole vault as well as the pentatholon, and Christy Gasparino who is competing in the pentathalon as well. We wish the athletes good luck in the upcoming meet.
