On Wednesday the Darien High School boys hockey team will face-off against the Ridgefield Tigers in the FCIAC semifinals. On Saturday night the Darien team defeated Staples 3-2 in overtime to advance to the semifinal game. The Darien team is favored heading into Wednesday, but Ridgefield will be no easy opponent. "Ridgefield beat New Canaan which was an upset, so nothing is for sure yet," said Darien team member Chris Shaker. The game will be played at Darien Ice Rink and will begin at 6 pm. The Darien fans will try to achieve a “white out” effect with every student in the student section wearing white. Make sure you are there to show your BWP!
