As the DHS lacrosse dynasty gears up for another spring season, eyes are on the girl's team. Fortunately, the squad only lost seniors Kim Davis, Callie Frelinghuysen and Caroline Spillane. However, it is a touch break to replace Spillane who is now a University of Pennsylvania freshman. The girls are optimistic they will come back from LAX life post-Spillane. The team has been working with the underclassmen all winter on stick work and shooting skills at The Academy of Sports in Stamford. Junior Paige Gasparino along with fellow juniors Liz Calby and Anne Fucigna are making up for shooting speed. Meanwhile, senior captains Courtney Bennett, Amy Marchesi, Jenny Joy, Phoebe Mclaughlin, and Kat Nestor have fantastic advantages, both offensive and defensive.
