The Sox won game 5 of the World Series on Monday Night,
giving themselves a 3-2 lead in the series, and game 6 will be played at
Fenway. So BWSB asked some Darien High School seniors and teachers who they
thought was going win. Here are the results:
Senior Kyle Gifford: Sox
Senior Julia Black: Sox
Senior Matt Vossler: Sox
Senior Nick Kunze: Sox
Senior Sandhya Avula: Sox
Senior Owen Brannigan: Sox
Senior Reed Barthold: Sox
Senior Brad Magnusson: Cards
Senior Brad McCarthy: Sox
Senior Eliza Wizinski: Cards
Senior Rudy Blosio: Sox
English Teacher Mr. Wallenfang: Sox
Math Teacher Ms. Wood: Sox
Score: 11-3 Red Sox
Sorry Cardinals, but maybe if we lived a couple hours closer
to St. Louis, and maybe if you had won on Monday night, things would be
different. But as of now, it looks like the Red Sox are going to win the
series.
