In 2006, Darien High School’s top runners joined together for the first ever DHS-24-Hour Relay. This year, 10 top distance runners will unite to do it again on June 27 at Darien High School. The relay is a run to raise money for the Logan McGovern Foundation in coordination with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The brave 2009 squad is made up of seniors Stuart Austin, Cam Bogie (pictured left), James Carroll, Robert Hendrickson, Garrett Loeffelman, Pat Luongo, Artem Skobrev, Peter Watson, and Cam Webster, and juniors Jake McCauley (pictured below), Alex Reynoso and Tommy Ross. The final 10-man team will be determined by fitness at race time. To learn more about the grueling physical feat that these runners will take part in or to donate to the cause, check out the full article in Neirad Enilno’s June issue live on June 1st at Neirad.org
