With the Girls lacrosse state tournament approaching, the Darien High School squad has hopes of making it through the tourney undefeated. Their current record is 11-2, with both losses coming to out of state teams. The team has three more regular season games, and the tournament begins May 28. Senior player Alex Hamill said, “I think that we will go very far in states and FCIACS. So far we’ve done really well against the hardest teams in FCIACS and we are going into the tournament confident and excited. Hopefully we can go undefeated.” The team takes on Fairfield Warde on May 18th at Warde. Be sure to attend. (Alex Bair pictured above)
