Boy’s Varsity Baseball lost 3-0 to Westhill High on Saturday. The opposing pitcher threw a no- hitter against Darien. Senior first baseman Teddy Malley said the pitching on both sides was great. “The other pitcher was keeping the ball low and mixing his speeds well, Hickey and Hodges did great too.” The Blue Wave’s season record was 14-6 and including playoffs, 15-7. That’s it for Darien in FCIAC, but States begin tomorrow. (June 1) The boys will face Platt Tech of Milford at 3:30pm on the turf. (varsity player James Patton pictured)
