Boys Lacrosse Takes Down Manhasset

The Darien Boy’s Lacrosse team defeated rival Manhasset this weekend 12-8. Senior Kevin Lindley and junior Logan Mcgovern both contributed with hat tricks this past weekend. From the midfield, senior Finlay Collins and junior Brian Minicus had two goals apiece while Riley Stewart contributed two assists. Senior Nick Percarpio dominated the ground ball game and was able to secure the Wave with several possessions off the face off. Ryan Cornell had an amazing game with eleven saves and a driving force behind the goals in transition the Wave was able to acquire. “Overall it was a great game to watch,” said Senior fogo Jack Beatty, “We played a great unselfish game.” Overall the boy’s lacrosse team is 5-0 and hopes to continue the streak this Wednesday against Warde High School away.
