Varsity Baseball Loses a Tough One to Danbury 6-4

The Blue Wave lost a hard fought game to the Danbury Hatters 6-4 last Friday, April 21st. Making plays on defense was a struggle, as the wave made a total of 6 errors in the field. A solid takeaway from the game, though, is the strong hitting the team had in the game. Junior Fin Batson said; "If we can clean up our mistakes on defense, our strong hitting will allow for us to win games handily". The team now has a 6-4 overall record and a 5-2 in the FCIAC. The Blue Wave have high expectations to live up to this season, and with three games this week they have the chance to prove why they won the FCIAC this past season. Come out this Monday afternoon to see the team take on Stamford at 4 pm.
