The Darien Boy’s lacrosse team defeated Wilton this past weekend 11-4. “It was an amazing game to watch,” said junior goalie Will Culliton. Senior captain Finlay Collins had an outstanding game. He was able to beat his one on one match up and snipe from just inside the restraining box. His two goals were both within a 22 second period. Kevin Lindley had an impressive first half scoring four goals in the twenty four minute period. After a great week of practice, the Wave’s defense locked down their individual match ups. This has been one of the closest games so far, and the boys hope to expand on this lead the next time they see them in either FCIAC’s or States. The next game for the Wave is this Tuesday followed by rival game against New Canaan this Saturday. This game could possibly be the most anticipated game in New England.
